"Participant", "you", or "your" refers to any individual enrolling in or enquiring about our programmes. "Programme" refers to any educational workshop or course offered by Baan Mangkon. 2. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an enquiry form, completing programme registration, or attending any Baan Mangkon session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions. You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If enrolling on behalf of another adult (such as a family member), you confirm you have their authority to do so.
3. Programme Description
Baan Mangkon provides structured financial education workshops for adults, primarily those aged 40 and above. Our current programmes are: Financial Scam Awareness & Protection (4 weeks), Navigating Debt: Understanding and Managing Obligations (7 weeks), and Couples & Family Financial Communication (10 weeks). Programmes are educational in nature. They do not constitute financial advice, legal advice, or investment guidance.
4. Enrolment and Eligibility
Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment and a written confirmation from Baan Mangkon. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come basis. Baan Mangkon reserves the right to decline enrolment where a programme is not suitable for the individual's circumstances, or where cohort dynamics would be adversely affected. Age requirement: participants must be 18 or older. Programmes are primarily designed for adults 40 and above.
5. Payment Terms
Programme fees are stated in Thai Baht (฿). Payment is required in full prior to the first session unless a specific written arrangement has been made. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of registration. Fees cover all scheduled group sessions, printed materials provided as part of the programme, and — where applicable — an optional individual review session.
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the programme start date are eligible for a full refund, less a 500 ฿ administration fee. Cancellations made 7–14 days before the start date are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations within 7 days of the start date are not eligible for a refund, though a credit toward a future cohort may be considered at our discretion. If Baan Mangkon cancels or significantly changes a programme, participants are entitled to a full refund or the option to transfer to a future cohort.
7. Participant Responsibilities
Participants are expected to engage respectfully with facilitators and other participants. Personal information shared by other participants during sessions must be treated as confidential. Participants must not record sessions (audio or video) without explicit written consent from Baan Mangkon and all other participants in the session. We reserve the right to ask a participant to leave a programme without refund if their conduct is disruptive or harmful to the group environment.
8. Intellectual Property
All programme materials — including worksheets, reference cards, presentations, and written content — are the intellectual property of Baan Mangkon. Materials provided to participants may be used for personal, non-commercial purposes only. They may not be reproduced, distributed, or adapted without our written permission.
9. Disclaimers
Baan Mangkon provides financial education, not financial advice. Nothing shared during our programmes constitutes a recommendation to take or avoid any specific financial action. Participants should consult a qualified financial adviser, lawyer, or relevant professional before making significant financial decisions. We make no representation that participation in our programmes will result in specific financial outcomes.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Baan Mangkon's liability to any participant for any claim arising from these Terms or programme participation is limited to the fees paid for the relevant programme. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from participation in or reliance on our educational content.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute arising from these terms or from programme participation shall first be subject to informal resolution between the parties. If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to the competent courts of Bangkok, Thailand.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. For participants currently enrolled in a programme, material changes will be communicated by email. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
